Nice interlock drieway and window wells done in Mississauga
Here is another project that we did for one of Nick’s clients. The client name was Steve from Mississauga.
The project involved a couple of parts, very interesting and unique interlock window well retaining walls, interlock driveway that was built from two different materials, interlock walkway and also a small interlock window well for another window.
The window well was built from a very nice interlocking material, permacon – celtik wall. Since there was the space, we didn’t close off the window well, but we opened it up to maximize the exposure to sun and pull as much sun into the basement as possible. We have used three different blends of colors and also three different sizes to create the most random and the most colorful pattern. I think it turned out beautifully, very unique idea as well. Large river stones with a mix of small river stones were used to prevent the erosion and also to create a nice look as well.
The driveway was laid on a very well compacted 1 foot crush stone base. It was surfaced with two different materials, unilock antara, muskoka blend and unilock, hollandstone, charcoal blend. This mix also turned our nice. The antara filled in the walkway space and the holland stone outlined the border as well as the rest of the additional driveway space. There was also some additional sloping done to redirect the rain water.
