Interlock paving, round garden walls in Mississauga for Christine
Unfortunately we have lost the “before” pictures on this job, which is too bad because we have created a huge difference from what it was. What we did here, is we re-used paving materials for the side of the house, but we used new materials for the front of the house.
The side shows a good example of how interlock material can be re-used. The best pieces to be re-used this way are large square pieces that were not cut. We used the old pavers from the front and from the back to do the side and we had just enough. Before we finished it with polymeric sand, we power washed it, which almost brought it back to the original look. Power washing is a must with re-used material.
For the front we used new material with lots of color, which is something that we were really happy about. Not too many clients like to use color and finally we were able to use color. Even the big stone in front is colorful. We have also re-laid the garden edging with nice granite stone that we had left over to complete the job, turned out very nice and the client was very happy. What really worked out great on this job, is the location of the evergreen trees and the curve of that garden wall and how it wraps around them and naturally works with the surroundings.

Few years ago, I worked for somebody doing this and I thought that I can do better so I gave it a try and I seem to be doing ok
I guess that was my inspiration, the idea that I can do better and maybe the idea of creating beautiful things on my own.
