Ontario Harmonized Sales Tax (HST)

8% PST  and 5% GST taxes are being combined into one 13% HST tax that will come in effect starting July 1, 2010. What difference would this make to the cost for services such as landscaping? The difference will be 8% increase on the labour part (labour is usually about 50% of the job cost before tax).
