We are a small landscape design and construction company based in Oakville, Ontario. We like to work in Oakville and surrounding areas such as Mississauga, Burlington and Milton. We specialize in residential landscape construction projects. We also do jobs for architects & engineers. Amsonia Landscaping has been operation since 2002.

Specializing in the following:

• interlock walkways, paths of various shapes and sizes, patios and driveways
• interlock flower bed walls, retaining walls, etc.
• natural flagstone/sandstone random/square cut paths (laid dry without mortar)
• natural flagstone/sandstone steps & staircases (laid dry without mortar)
• natural amour stone retaining walls, decorative flower bed walls, etc.
• sodding, planting trees, evergreens, shrubs, perennials, etc.
• installation of simple railings in case it is required

We might also be able to provide asphalt, masonry, irrigation, waterproofing & exterior wood work, which would be done by only trusted sub-contracted trades men that specialize in these fields (since there is no one that is best at all trades).

Interlocking installation has to be done properly for it to last and work as it should. This includes proper base thickness, material & compaction, properly done slopes,  solid edge restraints and finally complete use of polymeric sand.

The following are some advantages of interlocking installation:

• Works well in large areas. Pavers are small pieces of concrete with flexible joints (polymeric sand) in between so that it can take the shrinkage and expansion due to changes in temperature.
• Can be easily taken apart. In case of necessary access under the paving area, interlocking can be easily taken apart and than put back together and it can be done with it looking just like new again.
• It is not slippery and safe. Finished surface of most pavers is roughened up a bit to make it safe to walk on.
• It is about half the cost of masonry work

We do NOT do the following:

• Property maintenance
• Snow removal

We may do these services in the future.

• try to design a project plan that would best suit the client needs & wants, be the most elegant and also affordable
• use the best methods and equipment to make the project as solid as possible to make it last the longest
• use best quality materials and finish the project with at most precision
